ExperienceFor the past nine years, I have been a tutor and teacher for students in high school and college. My main subjects are physics and math. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Physics I earned at the University of Utah. When teaching technical subjects, I can help make sense of the details and explain why they have relevance so students have a context for what they're learning. It also helps make the concept at hand easier to digest and remember. I can also help students organize knowledge so it's useful. Doing so allows them to know their subject, what they should be learning, and what exactly they need to figure out. As far as memorization, I can make recommendations. I also teach the standard strategies and methods for solving problems. My current home is Painesville, Ohio. When I am not tutoring or teaching, I like to go trail running. My other interests include quantum computing, playing video games, and bitcoin development.
